First of all you should understand that downloading the software does not obligate you in any way to purchase anything. You are free to use the software on as many computers as you like for a period of thirty days. (Specific terms of the evaluation license can be viewed from WordSort's first screen). You do not need a credit card number to download the software. After the thirty day evaluation period you should remove the software from your computers or make arrangements for payment as follows.

What you do to make an order...
Determine how many copies you want to buy
You need to purchase a software license for each computer that will be using the software.
Calculate the total cost of the software
Our current prices are $30.00 for a single copy, $200.00 for a license for use on 10 computers. A license for unlimited use at a single site is $400.00. If you want us to ship the software instead of downloading it yourself from the internet add $10.00 for shipping and handling (see below).
We do offer discounts for large orders. If you like WordSort you may want to try to get your district interested in buying it.

Please include on your order...(many don't comply and it makes things hard for everyone)
the platform that you use, (Windows, Mac or both)
the name under which the software is to be licensed. If the software is purchased by a district we need the name of the school where it will be used.
an email address of a contact person in your organization, if possible. We need this so we can notify you of updates and to clear up any questions about the order.
If you want us to send the software on disk please note this request on your order and include $10.00 for shipping and handling.

New releases of the 2.x series of WordSort are free to licensed users. So check back and see if there is a new version available.
What we do when we receive your order...
The software that is downloaded from this internet site is fully functional. It displays a screen stating that it is for evaluation only but other that it is fully functional. So if you have software that you are evaluating there is no need for us to send disks to you. When we receive your order we will send you a numeric code that when entered into the program will remove the evaluation screen and show you as the licensed user. We will also send you a copy of your license to use the software.
If you feel that you must have copies of the software on disk then please state on your order that you want us to send disks and include $10.00 for shipping and handling.
